Adam West RIP

Adam West, the original TV Batman, has died.

His natal chart is below.

I am not sure of the Sag. Rising sign, though if this chart is accurate, then a career in the performing arts fits.

He had a Libra MC, and as Libra is a Cardinal Air sign, it’s about controlling the dialogue, and ensuring guidance in communications. Venus was in his 10th house, reinforcing the arts or an appreciation for aesthetic content in his career.

He also had numerous ninth house planets, lending to higher truth or justice. This is pertinent for an actor, as he looked to make good use of these planets by looking into characters and related points.

He also had Uranus in the 5th trine his AC, so heightened creativity is a boon for any artist.

To reiterate, I’m not sure if this chart is accurate or not. Though it does explain why he became an actor of note.

On election day, both the PM, Mrs. May, and the Leader of the Labour Party, Mr. Corbyn, had the following aspects:

Astrotheme_95Gnwa3cxmw2
PM’s natal chart

corbyn natal chart
Jeremy Corbyn’s natal chart

We can see that both held many positive transits, notably numerous trines to Jupiter for Corbyn.

Both certainly would have felt confident going into the election.

The results also noted the transits, or at least reflected them.

Mrs. May

The PM’s current transits are characterised by Jupiter in Libra, and near some of her personal planets, in which the concepts of negotiation, balance, co-operation and communication are enhanced (sound familiar of a prominent current event?)

It’s apparent that she would have a reasonable showing in the election and technically has “won” it by being the leader of the largest party. However, without an absolute majority, the need for co-operation and dialogue are reinforced, both with a potential alliance with the Democratic Unionists in Northern Ireland, and within those in her own party that want her to resign or either moderate her leadership style. She also needs to negotiate with the EU, as she had triggered Article 50 a few months ago, leading to two years of negotiations to forge a new trading and economic arrangement between the UK and EU.

Mr. Corbyn

With the trines to his personal planets, he must be feeling very pleased, proud, and elated that he did better than anticipated. He has managed to quell unrest in his party, and had attained the highest vote total for Labour in over a decade.

His future looks relatively bright, as he is clearly being inspired by his strong transits.

The slower moving planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, all reflect long-term life patterns. Currently, they are all in good aspects with his personal planets, and will be for several years to come. Thus, he is in essentially a good place in his life, and in career terms as a politician.

Can he become PM? Possibly. Though he should make the most of his positive transits to ensure a strong showing in the electorate.

The election thus was deservedly close, though I do believe both can look forward to positive things vocationally. For Mrs. May, this is:

  • Jupiter will meet Neptune soon, leading to a new insight, belief, policy, or direction.
  • Uranus will meet Pluto in two years, possibly a positive change in belief or policy. Maybe the Brexit negotiation will be positive, or she will gain seats in another election or via by-elections.
  • Neptune is trine her Sun, meaning she will feel personally inspired for a while to come.
  • Pluto is trine her Jupiter, leading to positive shifts in her goals and ambitions. This may have included becoming PM, and now will required to handle a potential coalition and negotiating with the EU.

For Mr. Corbyn:

  • Jupiter conjunct Neptune (stronger ideas and beliefs) and trine Sun, Venus, and Mercury (ambition, connection, relatability, and communication all expanded)
  • Saturn trine Saturn (obligation and sense of duty)
  • Uranus conjunct North Node in Aries (strong feelings to fight for his beliefs and promote his vision as a politician)
  • Pluto trine Moon and Mercury (changes in emotions and communication of his beliefs/visions)

Both will be feeling reasonable strong in the coming years, despite May losing some face in her not getting a strong majority.

Certainly both are reaching their prominence in a vocational sense, and with good transits currently and in the coming years, will be prone to work on these for their own benefits.

Meaning of the houses in career astrology

Do houses have a distinctive meaning in career astrology?

In my experience, no.

I see little difference between a standard natal analysis and career analysis for that matter.

House one always relates to the self.

House six to public delivery.

House nine to higher learning, spirituality, and so forth.

It’s from this that a person gains insight into one’s ideal career path.

The personality of a native influences the career, as:

  • Ascendant, Sun and Moon shape career inklings
  • Stelliums in given houses provide concentrations in given areas.
  • 1-3 houses specify internal, possibly subjective, influences
  • 4-6 houses highlight public attention
  • 7-9 reference the wider society
  • 10-12 identify inter-relational points and self-actualisation

So a seventh house stellium can be about relationships. Or a ninth house stellium can be educationally or spiritually-oriented.

Elements and qualities are also significant.

Fire planets mean direction, energy, drive and passion.

Earth planets are about nurturing, development, structure and progress.

Air planets refer to communication, connection, and relatability.

Water pertains to emotion, passion, and benevolence.

The measure of these elements influences career activities.

Moreover, fixed, cardinal, and mutable qualities hold a further effect.

Cardinal is very direct, energised and purposeful.

Fixed is very rooted and hardworking.

Mutable is very variable and flexible.

So it’s about a variety of different aspects and facets.

natal-chart

For instance, this individual, whom I’ve obtained permission from to use this chart.

He has many Fire planets (energy, direction), Fixed planets (hardworking, dedicated), 7-9 houses (wider society), and a Sag. Rising, Leo Sun/Moon.

This person thus is geared to directed and independent work, for the wider society.

This is balanced by squares to Uranus, showing flexibility, change and slight flightiness.

Trines to Neptune show imagination, quick thinking, and creativity.

A holistic view of the natal chart is needed, to ascertain the proper career guideline.

How do the pieces fit?

Don’t read into idle placements.

What do I mean by this?

Well a natal reading is never made from a singular point.

For instance, Sun in Leo does not make EVERY Leo bold, brash, confident or stubborn.

A Sun in Aries does not mean EVERY Aries is, or will be, bold, competitive, and bossy.

A Mercury in Scorpio does not mean a sharp tongue, nor does a Saturn in Sag make a diligent worker in the arts, spirituality or higher learning.

This is a mistake that many chart readers make.

A person is always the sum total of ALL aspects in one’s chart.

So there are many shy Leo or Aries Suns.

And some Mercurys in Scorpio may have silver tongues.

It all depends on the aspects.

Take this chart.

natal-chart

The native has his Sun in Leo, with Venus as his radial planet, and also conjunct Jupiter.

Does this make him ambitious? Fun-loving? Competitive?

Possibly.

I asked permission from the individual in question, and he does have these in his personality. However, one can see that the effects of his several planets in Leo is both bolstered and hindered by squares to Uranus and trines to Neptune.

So with the squares, he often has very individualist tendencies. With the trines, this is balanced by being rooted in creative and research-based pursuits.

So a Sun in Leo, per se, cannot denote anything.

Every person is the sum total of all aspects in his or her chart.

2017 – celeb natal analyses – Part 2

Hello. 🙂

Welcome to part 2 of our celeb analyses.

Given her record equalling 23rd Grand Slam, this will focus Ms. Venus Williams:

Jupiter is still in Libra:

  • trining her Sun and Venus (so good she has a planet named after her..haha) this is opportune for new heights and new connections.
  • conjunct her ascendant and Pluto, this is powerful, with time for big achievements, and moving to new heights.
  • sextile North Node and Moon, this could be good for a renewed purpose and connection with the wider scope (her sport, or the media or the public at large).
  • sextile Neptune, primed for new desires or heights in her sport, or personal life
  • Square IC/MC, possibly leading to tensions between working life, career goals, home ties and personal goals.
  • Jupiter square Mercury and her MC is about a possible tension between her career, goals, and reasoning on this. Maybe she wants to push herself more, but is limited in some way.

Saturn in Sagittarius:

  • Conjunct Neptune is a time for new insights and depths, especially in her relations with others in her sport, or the media
  • Trine True Node, time for a re-invigoration in her overarching spirit. North Node in Leo is about showmanship, courage, leadership and growth. Possibly new achievements or being the best she can be in her sport.
  • Trine Moon, in stronger emotions and inner space.
  • Saturn sextile ascendant may mean more emphasis on personal development
  • Saturn square natal Saturn is about tensions between new goals and one’s own innate structure.

This year looks like one of higher goals and achievement for Ms. Williams, so let’s see and hope these things come to pass. 🙂

2017 – celeb career insights – Part 1

zf4jzmchfawyjanmrjekdynjzqnjzqnjzqnj

This is the natal chart of President Trump.

I wish to analyse the transits that may affect his life, and his role as President in this year.

Jupiter in Libra:

  • Jupiter in 2nd/3rd houses – His own personal communicative abilities, and revenue-building means will face expansion. As POTUS, he will need to stress on more relatabilty, and win friends and influence people.
  • Jupiter would be trine his Sun, True Node, and his natal Uranus. A time of triumph, expansion, connection to his “true calling” in being “out there” amongst the masses, and also a change in his life circumstances and career.
  • Moon is sextile transiting Jupiter, and his family/home may be consciously aiding him in his personal goals.
  • Jupiter sextiling his natal Pluto and Mars may aid him adjusting internally to the challenges of being POTUS.
  • Jupiter is squaring his Mercury and Saturn, possibly he may feel detriment in his plans, communications to the wider masses. This could cause faults in attempting to influence people.

Saturn in Sagittarius:

  • Saturn is trining his Pluto and Mars, denoting a more developed inner life, possibly new inner skills needed to handle being POTUS. This could also mean growing familial relationships, or a new way to channel himself internally.
  • This is also opposite his natal Sun, North Node, and Uranus. A need for rootedness may undermine his higher goals.
  • His natal Jupiter and Neptune are in sextile, and good for personal growth through the home and family. Possibly his family are a rock for him at this time

True Node in Virgo:

  • Square natal True Node may impact greater meticulousness with his real goals.
  • Sextile Mercury, Saturn and Venus could mean better connection with a new short-term mission and communication, hard work and making new connections.
  • True Node square Sun and Uranus could be about a new short-term mission disrupting his own needs, and bringing unexpected changes.

Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, as longer-term transits, are positively geared since Mr. Trump has several Fire and Water planets.

For yearly influences, these may be the most prominent.

I’m not saying that all of this will come to pass. However, this is the picture that I am seeing currently, for his career at the least.

Let’s see if this does come to pass. 🙂

President Trump – long-term transits

Last week, President Donald Trump was sworn in as the President of the United States.

He has spent this week specifying and outlining his policies, ranging from China, to NAFTA, universal healthcare, and energy production.

President Trump’s natal chart is below:

zf4jzmchfawyjanmrjekdynjzqnjzqnjzqnj1

Transits are best when seeing long-term life circumstances.

Far-reaching events can be identified via the outer planets, namely Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto:

  • Jupiter in Libra (2016-2017). President Trump will be experiencing his Jupiter Return soon, and as this is in his second house, together with Neptune. He will realise and form key goals, however he will need to develop more relatability and communicative abilities. This also, as Jupiter is in Libra, about being conciliatory, building relationships/alliances, and promoting the common good through effectual dialogue. He needs to assure and allay the fears of some, concerning his policies and programmes for his own ultimate benefit, and that of the USA.  Jupiter is trine his tenth house, and thus directly tied to his career. Jupiter is transiting trine his True Node, so he may feel a deeply resonating life mission.

  • Saturn in Sagittarius (2014-2017). Saturn is trine Leo, and could help moderate and augment changes brought by Uranus’s trine. He may feel more purposeful, and is able to better negative this tumultuous period in his life for his own benefit.

  • Uranus in Aries (2011-2018). Uranus is trining his 12th house, towards his natal Pluto and Rising sign (Leo). It’s clear this time has been, and will be, prominent in his internal development, and expanding his own internal emotive capacity. It’s possible that he is using this time to develop himself, or possibly prove something to himself, and in a powerful and transformative manner.
  • Neptune in Pisces (2012-2025). Neptune is currently trining his 11th house, and near his natal Mercury in Cancer. It is a time of deeper communicative and rationalising measures, and using this to forge new alliances.
  • Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024). Pluto in Capricorn is in his 5th house, and trining his 9th It may not hit his tenth house in the time of his presidency, however he may feel towards the end of his tenure that he has achieved all he can in life, and fulfilled a higher life destiny.

Overall, these represent positive aspects for the President in the coming years. These are balanced by negative aspects, due to squares to personal planets, though the multiple trines can aid in mitigating these effects.

Can this represent a positive Presidency? Or a positive time for the United States? Maybe. At the least, President Trump possesses many aspects on which to draw on, to ensure that he and the USA emerge stronger in the coming period.

I do think though that his Presidency would be influenced by his personality.

In natal astrology, there is a “trinity” of placements that affect one’s root character, the ascendant, Sun and Moon. For the President, he has a Leo Rising (conjunct Regulus and with a Virgo character), Gemini Sun, and Sagittarius Moon. Possibly we’ll see an expansive, ambitious, projected, collaborative, and integrated Presidency, given President Trump’s personality.

This isn’t to say what will happen, though one of many interpretations of how his Presidency can unfold.

August 2016/September 2016 videos

Hello all, 🙂

August 2016 reports will be a little later than usual.

They will be done very soon with the September reports.

August is almost halfway through, granted, but life happens and reports have not been able to be done fully.

We’re sorry for the delay, but we’re looking to get a video out soon on Jupiter in Libra, the Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius, and various other content. 🙂

Uranus retrograde….

What is a retrograde?

It’s when a planet appears to be going backwards, relative to the Earth.

It’s not really going backwards physically, but it’s an illusion due to the orbits.

Astrologically, a retrograde has a specific meaning.

It means that the lessons, facets and points of a transit need revision or may repeat before it goes direct.

It also gives scope for revision of plans, or ideas, or actions, before the direct motion occurs.

Uranus is currently in retrograde in Aries, which will affect other Fire signs, or signs in sextile such as Aquarius and Gemini.

Uranus is the planet of change, revolution, flux and ambiguity. As it transits around the zodiac, it helps in providing change and development in various areas.

So as a retrograde motion, for Leos and Sagittarius, these points are evident:

  • Revise changes in plans
  • Change strategies to account for new eventualities and new horizons
  • Welcome changes that do occur, as trine aspects are generally positive
  • Identify new innovations to make, and implement them before or when Uranus is direct.

Retrogrades aren’t inherently wrong at all, but give us time to reflect, analyse, and reconsider points before we act.

Sir Patrick Stewart – natal career reading..

Sir Patrick Stewart is a British actor, and his birthday was earlier this week. 🙂

He’s most noted for his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek the Next Generation, and Professor Xavier in the X-Men films.

As a Trekkie, I wanted to pay homage to Sir Patrick and see what aspects made him become a noted and revered actor. 🙂

Sir Patrick is, of course, a noted actor in TV, film and the stage, inclusive of Shakespearean works.

astro_2atw_01_patrick_stewart-60337-14830

He has many Fixed planets, showing a persistence, doggedness, possibly even stubbornness at times. He surely then is a hardworker, which is critical to success in acting, or any other venture.

Mercury/Pluto/Mars conjunction in Leo is telling too, since he is noted for his strong and authoritative voice:

This is a scene of him playing Picard in Star Trek, which shows how he can master his voice to make a poignant point for his character. This also is a boon in Shakespearean acting, due to the style in which this is played.

Leo is also a sign of drama and action, which figures a lot for obvious reasons vocationally, and with Pluto and Mars conjunct this is a powerful combination. Possibly Sir Patrick has need or will to express himself in Leonine fashion, or certainly uses this placement to good effect.

Venus/Gemini trine Moon/Scorpio is telling also, this means strong emotions tied with sociability. This is a boon in acting.

Morever, the North Node is in Libra, showing a striving for balance and harmony. It is loosely trine Venus, so lending to Air qualities overall.

Jupiter and Saturn are sextile his Sun, showing growth and hard work are part of his character. And Uranus trine Neptune is a generational placement, however both are sextile his Sun, meaning the values of his generation (change meeting imagination) are of personal relevance to his goals, ego and life force. This could explain his political views (Labour Party), or his support of gay marriage and other socially liberal topics. Note it was the “Baby Boomers” of which he is part that initiated much of modern moral and social discourse.

Sir Patrick clearly has an intriguing chart. It’s a pleasure to “engage” in this analysis, and “make it so”. 🙂
